I signed up. Now what? Membership or Prepaid Package?
For single class, 10 and 20 class packs there is no difference or advantage one way or the other. The number of classes you can attend and the length of time your package is valid are exactly the same. One month unlimited is only available through the Membership portal for easy and convenience auto-renew of your package and your payment. Please be sure to add us to your list of companies to advise when your credit card expires or is lost/stolen.
How do I maximize my audio experience in a Zoom class?
- It is best if you can attend the class using a laptop. An iPad is second best. A phone is not great. We STRONGLY recommend that you restart your device BEFORE EVERY class.
- If you have Bluetooth earbuds or a headset or run your sound through speakers your experience will improve enormously (but not necessary if you don’t have).
- Sometimes clients say they still can’t hear very well even though the sound on their device is turned all the way up. That’s when you need to know how to manipulate the sound in Zoom because volume settings are not just the volume buttons on your device:
When you are in zoom you can click on the little arrow attached to your mute button. A menu will pop up and the last item is Audio Settings. Once there you can change the speaker volume and improve the sound.
How do I maximize my video experience in a Zoom class?
- It is best if you can attend the class using a laptop. An iPad is second best. A phone is not great. We STRONGLY recommend that you restart your device BEFORE EVERY class.
- Keeping your video on means that others can see you although most people have the instructor’s video pinned and watch only the instructor.
- If you wish to see only your instructor you can “pin” their video. Simply click the three little dots in the top left corner of the instructor’s screen and click “pin”. If this doesn’t work, you can set your view to “speaker view” and when the instructor mutes everyone you will only see the instructor.
- If you prefer to see all the people in your class, keep your screen on Gallery View. You will inevitably feed off the energy of everyone who is working out as hard as you are!
- BOOTCAMP: In Bootcamp the instructor shares the workout on your screen. In order to see the workout and the instructor, click on the viewing options at the top of the screen where it says the instructor is sharing her screen and then click “side by side”. This is not possible on all devices.
Can I book more than one class at a time?
By all means! After you click BOOK on your first class there will be an Add More Classes button at the top of the page. If you don’t see it immediately, scroll up. It’s there!
Do I have to keep my video on?
Whether you keep your video on or off is a personal choice. Your instructor can give you form corrections and engage with you more readily if your video is on but it is absolutely not required. Most people do keep their video on to feel that they are part of a live class. Video on does help us build community which is key to the AdlerFitness mission but more important than that is your comfort level in the class. Try with it on and try with off. See what works for you.
What if I need to cancel?
Please cancel 12 hours in advance. How? Click through the following steps:
- Sign In
- Your Bookings
- Click on the booking you want to cancel
- Click Cancel and confirm.
How do I know my booking went through?
When you book a class you will checkout, click the Terms & Conditions and Confirm. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation email please try again.
How do I connect to the Zoom class?
The confirmation email you receive when you book contains all the information you need to link into the class on the allotted date and time. You will receive this same information in a Reminder email 15 minutes before the class begins.
What if I can’t find the Zoom link?
No worries! Check your email 15 minutes before the class starts and you will find a Reminder email with the Zoom link and password. Click JOIN and you’re set!
What happens if I am late for class?
Gone are the days of searching for parking and gone are the days of not being allowed to enter a class late for fear of disrupting. We know that life happens – traffic getting home from dropping off the kids; a quick switch of the laundry before logging on; or maybe you just spent one extra minute enjoying your coffee before class. At AdlerFitness the classes ALWAYS start on time and we do encourage you to be on time so you can warm up with us but if you’re late it’s ok – we’ll be there to welcome you!
How close to the class time can I book?
The AdlerFitness booking system allows you to book up to one minute before the class starts. If you decide at the last minute that you want to join and you’ve tried to book but missed the window, please email adlerfitness2020@gmail.com or through the Contact link on our website and we will send you the link right away.
Can I book a private class to celebrate an occasion?
Absolutely! Private classes are a great way to engage with friends and family when you’re tired of the virtual meeting option. Have a staff that you want to have a little fun with? Book a morning, lunchtime or evening workout with them. A team that sweats together feels great together! Family and friends will love the opportunity to meet up for a workout – we promise! Birthdays, showers, whatever the occasion – we have a class that will work for groups of every age and strength level. In particular our Bootcamp, Yoga and Pilates classes do not require equipment. Can I book a class for a friend?
Absolutely. If you have a 10 or 20 class pack the booking system will allow you to book the same class twice. If you have an unlimited package drop us a note and we can accommodate a new friend. We would appreciate if you would pop us a quick email to let us know who will be joining you so that we can send them our Terms & Conditions (waiver) before class.
Can more than one person in my home take a class together?
For sure! And you don’t have to pay double for your bubble. Visit our Pricing page for more information about more than one person working out on one screen.
What if my class pack expires before I use it?
If you were not able to make the most out of your class pack before it expired email us at adlerfitness2020@gmail.com and we will give you a modest extension.
What kind of roller do I need for the Foam Roller classes?
